Parent Night at Youth Group

Parent Night at Youth Group will be taking place January 25, 2009.

This is a High School and Middle School event.

All youth group parents please come to this event. We will be Showing what we have planed for the new year and answering any question you have.

Saturday Night At StarBucks

Saturday Night At StarBucks will be taking place January 10, 2009.

This is a High School and Middle School event.

We at CoF Youth Group love Starbucks so one a month we go to the Starbucks on U.S 27 at Cagans Crossing. Afterwards we sometimes go and grab a bite to eat at a nearby restaurant. Please bring at least $10. Come hang out and have a good time

Winter Jam 2009!

Winter Jam 2009! will be taking place January 17, 2009.

This is a High School and Middle School event.

The Winter Jam 2009 tour is coming to the Sun Dome in Tampa. Tickets will be $10 at the door. Come enjoy a concert from Artist tobyMac, Hawk Nelson, Brandon Heath, NewSong, Francesca Battistelli, pureNRG, Stephanie Smith, & Guest Speaker Tony Nolan. More info coming soon.

Local Service Activity

Local Service Activity will be taking place January 10, 2009.

This is a High School and Middle School event.

Some of you may know that an older COF member, Chuck Fontaine, fell and broke his femur several weeks ago. Earline, his wife, called me to ask if I could round up some of our youth to come to their house and take down Christmas lights for them. They are a very sweet couple who are very active in our church. In fact, they made all the costumes for the children's Christmas pageant and for VBS this past summer. Some of the work would require getting on a ladder and taking lights off the house.
We will meet at Art & Dinorah's house at 10:00 AM and walk over to Chuck and Earline's since they live in Greater Groves as well. Please e-Mail or call Dinorah if you have any questions.
